Vaccinations

The Health Department is now offering the following free vaccinations for adults who do not have insurance:

  • Flu - Annual flu vaccination is recommended for all individuals regardless of health status
  • HPV (Human Papillomavirus) - Recommended for men and women through age 26
  • Meningitis - Recommended for those enrolled in a dormitory setting
  • Pneumonia
  • Shingles - Recommended for all individuals 50 years of age and older
  • Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis) - Recommended for all individuals who have contact with an infant, especially grandparents

Adult health services such as chronic illness programs are held throughout the year, addressing:

  • Cancer
    • Breast cancer
    • Colorectal cancer
    • Prostate cancer
    • Etc.
  • Diabetes
  • High blood pressure
