The DPW conducts street sweeping each fall following the annual completion of leaf collection and in the summer as well.
Each pass takes approximately 8-10 weeks, weather permitting, and is in addition to the ongoing sweeping of the downtown three times per week. Seasonal updates will be posted here and are also distributed through the Town Updates notifications.
Summer Street Sweeping
The DPW will begin its summer street sweeping pass through Town on Tuesday, July 6, which is expected to take about eight weeks to complete.
August 3 Update
On Wednesday, August 4, street sweeping crews anticipate working in the following areas.
North side: In the vicinity of Kimball Avenue from North Euclid to Woodland Avenue
South side: In the vicinity of Delaware Street and Boynton Avenue, as well as Boulevard from Dakota Street to South Avenue
Residents are reminded to please remove cars from the streets where sweeping crews are working. A map of the leaf collection zones used for street sweeping can be found here.
